Trained as a seamstress and a former Swedish model, Margaretha Ley was always deeply fascinated by fashion. After working as a tailor at the Swedish royal court, she eventually decided to launch her own clothing brand in 1976. This is how the house of Escada came into being. Renowned for its quality fabrics and vibrant colors, it also expanded into perfumes starting in 1990. Today, its olfactory story continues. In 2022, Escada's new feminine fragrance sets out to take us into the heart of Broadway. Its name alone is an invitation onto the stage: Show Me Love by Escada!

Show Me Love by Escada plunges us into a gourmand and fruity world from its very start. Indeed, it opens with juicy and tangy top notes containing blueberry. This small blue-tinged berry is soon joined by a more sensual heart of jasmine. Opulent, sun-kissed and deep, this white flower heightens the femininity of this perfume. Nevertheless, with Show Me Love by Escada, the gourmand character is never far away... This composition ends with sweet base notes, built around a macaron accord. It should also be noted that Show Me Love by Escada is Escada's first vegan perfume. In other words, its production involves no animal suffering and no laboratory testing on animals. It stands as further evidence of Escada's commitment to environmental protection and biodiversity.

Show Me Love by Escada comes in a cardboard box on which the word LOVE appears several times, as if it were displayed on Broadway's iconic marquees. Inside, this packaging houses an opaque heart-shaped bottle. Available in three sizes of 30, 50 and 100 ml, it comes in a velvet red hue, similar to the shade of traditional theater curtains. The consistency is absolutely perfect... Show Me Love by Escada is designed to stand in the spotlight. No one seems able to ignore it!

Did you know: it was while on her honeymoon that Margaretha Ley found the name for her clothing brand. Indeed, Escada was a winning racehorse, on which the designer had placed a bet with her husband. Still fascinated by everything that shines, stands out, and succeeds in general, Margaretha Ley went on to design perfumes that were always bold and creative. It is therefore with genuine cheerfulness that the house of Escada created the perfume Show Me Love in 2022. Here is our review.
