It was first created in 2009 and was originally intended to be sold only at Guerlain's Parisian boutique. Its success was such, however, that the house decided to extend its reach worldwide starting in 2012. Since then, its fame has not waned, and La Petite Robe Noire continues to rank among the best-selling fragrances in the world. This has led to its regular reinvention in new limited editions. A Guerlain bottle with no great surprises but still very seductive
Let us begin with the visual discovery of the feminine fragrance La Petite Robe Noire Nectar by Guerlain. Its bottle is hardly surprising and takes the same shape as its predecessors. It nonetheless offers a dive into Guerlain's heritage. Indeed, this bottle is directly inspired by the bottles of Mitsouko and L'Heure Bleue, fragrances dating back to the early twentieth century. For La Petite Robe Noire, it had nonetheless been slightly modernized by Serge Mansau, whose talent needs no further proof. With its comma-shaped shoulders and its inverted heart-shaped cap, La Petite Robe Noire Nectar aims to be very feminine. Its pink gradient has disappeared in favor of a more orange hue. The message is clear: La Petite Robe Noire Nectar wants to be more amber and warmer than before.
