The different players behind La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique

In order to reinterpret the emblematic scent of the Yves Saint-Laurent brand, the house called on three renowned perfumers. Moreover, La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique is the result of the work of Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Juliette Karagueuzoglou. While the first two had already worked on the creation of La Nuit de L'Homme, Juliette Karagueuzoglou, for her part, has newly joined the team. She says she is delighted with this collaboration and admits having always enjoyed revisiting great classics to modernize them. What is more, it is a real opportunity to be able to collaborate with Dominique Ropion, who today is among the most prolific and talented perfumers of our generation. Anne Flipo, for her part, is also a great artist who has many iconic fragrances to her credit. Together, they combined their creativity to create a true masterpiece. What is more, note that the virility of this new perfume will be embodied on screen by Vinnie Woolson, face of the campaign for La Nuit de L'Homme since 2015. He is famous for his rock look, his tattoos and his extraordinary sex appeal. We are already looking forward to discovering Yves Saint-Laurent's next advertisement...

The contrasting scent of La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique

As for the scent itself, Yves Saint Laurent has already let the recipe of its new perfume filter through. La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique opens with a very energizing citrus-based start. Moreover, bergamot brings a pronounced yet soft freshness while mandarin makes it more tangy and fruity. Green apple also joins in, letting a sparkling, more aromatic note float through. Then a classic fougère accord occupies the heart of La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique. It consists of geranium, lavender and tonka bean. It is nonetheless modernized by a floral and waxy orange blossom accord. Likewise, sage makes the whole thing more invigorating. Finally, La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique ends with a more enveloping sillage. It contains, moreover, cedar, cashmere wood, vetiver, patchouli and vanilla.

Olfastory’s review

Yves Saint-Laurent is a man with an atypical personality, criticized many times but at least as adored. Also, as if to pay tribute to his dark side, his house created a perfume one day, in 2009, named La Nuit De L'Homme. It immediately met with colossal success. Since then, Yves Saint-Laurent has continued to multiply its revisitings. As such, a new version of this fragrance has just come into being. It is called La Nuit De L'Homme Eau Electrique and has countless assets.

The advertising

Certain perfumes are true emblems of perfumery. As such, L'Homme is a fragrance that has already celebrated its 10th anniversary and which, nonetheless, is still just as adored by men. It must be said that it continues to reinvent itself, as evidenced by the very latest creation, La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique. This euphoric perfume highlights the sensuality of this great olfactory collection. It appears to be one of the most sensual and most effervescent fragrances from Yves Saint-Laurent. So, focus on its visual presentation...

The new clip from the house of Yves Saint-Laurent

On the occasion of the launch of La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique, the house of Yves Saint-Laurent chose to offer us a rather long television clip. It lasts nearly two minutes and draws us into an electrifying and enigmatic atmosphere. The entirety of this mini film is shot in black and white and is accompanied by the music “Ghostcity” by Thomas Azier. The whole was directed by Colin Tilley and immerses us in a mysterious and sensual universe. Vinnie Woolston, face of the campaign for the perfume La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique, appears here endowed with unparalleled magnetism. Moreover, he upsets the laws of physics as he passes. He enters a concert hall and makes the light bulbs explode. He then passes into the next room and sets off the sprinklers specially installed in case of fire. From there, he isolates himself in a room in the company of Jacquelyn Jablonski. The two models then share with us their absolutely euphoric embrace. The scene ends with the vision of Vinnie Woolston atop a building. After overlooking the expanse of the illuminated city, he casts us one final look that already promises not to leave women indifferent... So, gentlemen, what are you waiting for to seize his finest asset?

The faces of the campaign for La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique

Note, however, that this is not the first time Vinnie Woolston has lent his image to Yves Saint-Laurent perfumes. Moreover, he has been the face of the campaign for La Nuit de L'Homme since 2009, thus succeeding Vincent Cassel and Garrett Hedlund. The task was bold but seems to suit him perfectly. Moreover, Vinnie Woolston has a certain rock 'n' roll and very virile side that suits the house's new fragrance, La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Electrique, perfectly. What is more, this New Zealander confides that he recognizes himself perfectly in this perfume collection. He even adds that night is one of his favorite moments, a time when he lets go and when mystery has its full place. Jacquelyn Jablonski, for her part, has already collaborated with numerous luxury houses. Her extraordinary beauty earned her third place in the Supermodel of The World competition in 2007. It is therefore no surprise that she did not leave Vinnie Woolston indifferent...
