Where to buy

Then, buoyed by its success with men, it was declined into a more nocturnal edition: La Nuit de l'Homme. Since then, this men's fragrance has kept people talking and has given rise to other derivatives of its scent. In 2021, the newcomer to the collection is named La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique. What if you added a touch of adrenaline to your daily life by daring this electric thrill?

All the duality of the Yves Saint-Laurent man

Because man is multifaceted, Yves Saint-Laurent decided to deliver the full complexity of his portrait in the perfume La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique. With it, it is about a man with two faces: nonchalant yet charismatic by day, sensual and more casual by night! The modern man thus goes from the refined dandy to the urban bad boy in the snap of a finger. It is precisely these two aspects that are found simultaneously in the perfume La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique. With it, the perfect son-in-law becomes a seducer once night falls.

The powerful vibration of La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique

La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique by Yves Saint-Laurent is a perfume that is not made to go unnoticed. Far from snubbing the rest of the collection, it draws inspiration from its predecessors, while offering them an additional vibration. As Dominique Ropion, the perfumer in charge of its creation, explains so well, it is an olfactory interpretation, more intense and more spicy, of the original Eau de Toilette La Nuit de l'Homme. La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique opens on a duo of ginger and cardamom. As a reminder, cardamom is a cold spice, while ginger proves more peppery and slightly soapy. Note that it is also the most aphrodisiac ingredient there is. This sensuality immediately gives way to an aromatic and peppery heart of geranium and lavender. Here, it is a Diva lavender, specifically developed for the house of Yves Saint-Laurent. Finally, in a true burst of virility, La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique closes with a dry breath of cedarwood.

The electric blue gradient of the Yves Saint-Laurent bottle

In terms of aesthetics, La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique reuses the same design as its predecessors. This perfume comes to us in a cylindrical glass case, topped with an imposing hexagonal cap. Raw and industrial, it is tinted with an opaque black, contrasting with the transparency of its electric blue. From then on, the bottle of La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique appears like a blazing neon light in the dark night.

Olfastory’s review

Yves Saint-Laurent is a designer who was always deeply attached to the city of Paris. Indeed, that is where he spent most of his time and where he found inspiration for many of his creations. Several times, the house bearing his name has immersed us in the heart of the capital. However, since the creation of the perfume La Nuit de l'Homme, it is mainly a nocturnal Paris that is evoked, at the heart of which the man reveals his other face, more seductive and magnetic. In 2021, the story continues and the Yves Saint-Laurent saga expands with a new men's fragrance: La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique. Here is our review on the subject.
