La Nuit de L'Homme Le Parfum

Yves Saint Laurent launched La Nuit de L’Homme Le Parfum in 2010, a year after the La Nuit de L’Homme Eau de Toilette. The line extends L’Homme, the house’s men’s fragrance born in 2006, and borrows its cylindrical bottle with a hexagonal cap, dressed in black for the night.

A spicier version

The house presents Le Parfum as a new side of Yves Saint Laurent masculinity, seduction taken to its quintessence. It describes the fragrance as a woody oriental carried by three accents: black pepper, labdanum and vetiver.

Compared with the 2009 Eau de Toilette, this version aims to be spicier and more intense: it keeps the freshness of bergamot and adds anise, which lavender extends in the heart.

Day and night

Yves Saint Laurent now brings L’Homme and La Nuit de L’Homme together in a shared collection, presented as a tribute to man’s duality, under the motto “Live the day, own the night.” Each line stands for one side of the masculine character.

Within this pairing, La Nuit de L’Homme Le Parfum plays the mysterious one. The house sees it as a spicy oriental built on tensions and olfactory clashes, bringing a darker, more sensual dimension to the magnetism of L’Homme.
