La Nuit de l’Homme le Parfum, an excessive virility Yves Saint Laurent was born in 1936 in Oran, Algeria. His father wanted him to become a lawyer, but Yves Saint Laurent decided otherwise, to our great delight. Yves Saint Laurent's style is unrestrained, even shocking for the bourgeoisie of the time.

He liked to reinvent the codes of fashion, mainly women's fashion, whose freedoms he championed throughout his career. In 2006, YSL devoted itself entirely to men with L’Homme, a fragrance depicting the modern man. Then, in 2010, the house presented one of its flankers with La Nuit de l’Homme, le Parfum.
The modern man according to Yves Saint Laurent
The story of the modern man begins in 2006 with L’Homme. This fragrance was originally intended to highlight the charisma of a sensual and magnetic man. Thanks to its touch of darkness, L’Homme comes across as mysterious yet highly attractive. Very bold, L’Homme did not hesitate to display its sensuality in an unrestrained way. This last aspect is nonetheless heightened with La Nuit de l’Homme, released in 2009. After the Eau de Toilette, YSL presented La Nuit de l’Homme, le Parfum. It emphasizes the seductive side of man, giving him an ultra devastating charm. It draws us into the heart of a dark and mysterious night, in an almost forbidden world. It leaves behind an intense, unforgettable sillage that one cannot shake off…
La Nuit de l’Homme le Parfum, its ultra seductive notes
Fresh, carnal, bold, the fragrance of La Nuit de l’Homme le Parfum is unprecedented. La Nuit de l’Homme, le Parfum opens on invigorating notes of bergamot. This is enhanced by notes of pepper as well as the aromatic notes of star anise. The heart is highly contrasted, between shadow and light. On one hand, it aims to be ultra dark, thanks to the presence of labdanum cistus, usually found in the base notes, but it is also composed of fruity notes and the aromatic notes of lavender. The base is warm and sensual, combining vanilla, vetiver and patchouli. The bottle takes up the codes of its predecessor. It has a cylindrical shape topped with an octagonal bolt. Above and at the center is the iconic YSL cassandre. The whole is an opaque color, similar to the obscure night that La Nuit de l’Homme, le Parfum evokes.
Intense, modern and dark, La Nuit de l’Homme, le Parfum continues the seduction begun with L’Homme. YSL takes us into the capital, during a mysterious night with an utterly charismatic man. Its composition is ultra seductive, as is the bottle. Altogether it offers an essence that makes us lose our heads…
