J'adore Voile de Parfum

J’adore Voile de Parfum is the eau de toilette Dior added to the J’adore line in the spring of 2013. François Demachy brings in Tuscan iris, which opens the composition, ahead of Damascena rose and a base of white musks: a powdery floral the house wanted as light as a veil. It keeps the J’adore amphora, with a pinker juice.

Nicholas (eauxSILLAGE) finds a powdery iris and rosewater over an almost aquatic floral, which reminds him of a skincare cream and of Prada more than Dior.

What critics say

Nicholas, eauxSILLAGE

Nicholas, who reviews the J’adore flankers on eauxSILLAGE in November 2020, likens Voile de Parfum to his La Mer moisturizer. He smells a soft, powdery iris, a hint of rosewater and a barely perceptible white floral accord.

This floral seems so light to him that it becomes almost aquatic. He concludes that the perfume evokes Prada more than Dior.
