J’adore Intense is the Parfum version of Dior’s J’adore line, composed by Francis Kurkdjian and launched in early 2026. The perfumer turns the J’adore bouquet into a honeyed floral nectar: ylang-ylang at the top, a duo of Damascena rose and grandiflorum jasmine tinged with apricot, and a base of sandalwood and vanilla. Rihanna is its face.
The house divides the formula into three stages. Ylang-ylang essence opens the composition: a flower of the sun with golden petals, it leaves a smooth, almost creamy trace with hints of vanilla and golden honey.
Damascena rose, all color and roundness, meets a grandiflorum jasmine taken at its peak. Hints of apricot tint this jasmine and bring a luscious, fleshy gourmand quality to the composition.
The base blends woody notes, a soft sandalwood and a generous vanilla, which extend the floral radiance into a sensual softness. Honey is not a declared note: it runs through the ylang-ylang and gives the whole its nectar-like character.
What the label declares
The ingredient list names ylang-ylang essence, rose and jasmine extracts and geranium oil, along with vanillin and coumarin. It also includes two citrus peel oils, bergamot and bitter orange, and three colorants that tint the juice.
