DIOR Higher Energy

Higher Energy: A modern and powerful citrus takeoff, Fresh Dior, yet accustomed to creating sophisticated communication campaigns in perfumery, took in 2001 the opposite stance of this culture of Gold to offer an innovative and streamlined fragrance: Higher.

Riding on its success, the great house of perfumery offered in 2003 a new variation that likewise rises higher to soar even further: Higher Energy.

A fragrance as a new philosophy of life: Higher Energy

The strong concept of the Higher fragrance line is precisely that there is no longer a concept! Or rather that simplicity and beauty do not need to be exaggeratedly highlighted to exist…or to sell either…

Thus the first Higher campaign, tied to the haute couture collection, was based on timeless and elegant black-and-white images, the better to showcase raw materials that were ultramodern and, as always, rigorously chosen. While Higher Energy offers spirited olfactory novelties, the advertising campaign retained its streamlined charm.

Filmed in close-up, the young model RJ Rogenski poses with his shirt open to the wind, showing off his brand-new sense of freedom in close-up. No music, but instead an aerial view of a cloudy sky enveloped in the power of large-engine roars. This man's strength comes from Nature and his free spirit, which nothing and no one could stop!

Clearly and openly, Higher Energy, just like its predecessor, is presented by Dior as a young and urban fragrance for the man open to new perspectives and horizons.

Higher Energy, or a naturally ultra-vitamin-boosted cocktail

While the Higher Energy bottle plays with transparency to reveal a bright lemon-yellow juice, the frank and clean masculine lines of the square-shouldered bottle remain. Inspired by the most innovative urban concepts, Higher Energy once again demonstrates its sensational thirst for modernity.

The fine citrus fragrance has lost none of the legendary pep of its elder and does not hesitate to play up the freshness of citrus fruits, the better to seduce men eager for vitality. The top notes are inevitably the energy of this sharp grapefruit-scented takeoff, which does not prevent juniper berries from adding their spicy sweetness and finely scented touch to the citrus notes. Black pepper essence spikes the heart of the fragrance, accompanied by the strong sensuality of incense. Yet Higher Energy retains the melting, sweet pear note of its original juice, giving an original and gourmand touch to this powerful scented ensemble. Finally, the Higher Energy man offers a deep, woody, and wild sillage thanks to vetiver, so dear to Dior, delicately wrapped in white musks.

Like a new Man, the Higher Energy man draws his strength from within himself and from what he wears: his fragrance, of course! Far from being an insubstantial pretty boy, the man as Dior envisions him with this ultra-modern and ultra-streamlined fragrance draws his vital energy from the elements around him. Thus his freedom is never hindered and his strength constantly renewed.
