Well, fans can rest assured, as Castelbajac appears to have decided to remedy this problem! The house has just announced the release of a brand new perfume named Beautiful Day, whose belonging to the Castelbajac house is immediately identifiable.

Beautiful Day, a gourmand and feminine perfume

In 2001, the Castelbajac brand had made a lot of noise with the creation of a juice named Doudou, created by Maurice Roucel. It notably had the distinctive feature of evoking the smell of Cléopâtre glue from our childhood. Also, to craft the new Beautiful Day, Castelbajac decided to work again with this perfumer. Moreover, he did not entirely move away from his first creation. Indeed, the new Beautiful Day features the same almond scent already present in the previous olfactory chapter of Castelbajac. Almond is worked here in all its forms, whether green almond or bitter almond. It is surrounded by more feminine flowers such as heliotrope or lily of the valley. The vivacity of this perfume, in turn, comes through in citrus facets and notably in a touch of bitter orange. Orange blossom also brightens the whole composition, giving it a more Mediterranean and more luminous character. Finally, sweetness seems to prevail and Beautiful Day wraps itself in tonka bean and vanilla. Musk also enhances the sensuality of the whole. The result is an “infinitely feminine” perfume, a sort of “sublimated almond”.

Beyond this gourmand and floral composition, Castelbajac also draws us into its universe through the design of its bottle. Indeed, it fits perfectly with the aesthetic of Jean-Charles Castelbajac. This case is essentially built on art and pop culture. Beautiful Day comes in a thick rectangle of glass. It is entirely lacquered in white. On its front face, a sort of frame is cut out, evoking the look of a painting. The whole is covered with a graphic pattern resembling a minimalist painting. It is entirely conceived in primary colors. Castelbajac incorporated into it “yellow for human warmth, red for passion and blue for hope”. For added refinement, the whole is topped with a very elegant golden plate. Finally, as if to underline the contrasts of this bottle, Castelbajac chose to top this white lacquering with a cylindrical cabochon entirely covered in black.
