This perfume perfectly echoes the woman she was, as well as her tastes and her style. Bearing her nickname, it is also the house's first essence to be born after the passing of Gabrielle Chanel. Through this fragrance, the house of Chanel brilliantly captures Gabrielle Chanel's unmatched sense of chic, paired with a certain extravagance. Inspired by her apartment, richly decorated and baroque, it offers us a glimpse of her living environment. Just like the designer herself, this fragrance is a warm, charismatic and sweet composition.
A perfume signed by Jacques Polge
It should also be noted that Coco owes its existence to one of the greatest perfumers in the world, the talented Jacques Polge, the house's official nose, who devoted his entire life to Chanel. Here, he chose to immerse us in an oriental and spicy register, giving rise to a voluptuous and highly seductive breath. To achieve this, Coco combines orange blossom, peach and frangipani. Its heart, meanwhile, becomes more floral. It contains angelica, jasmine from India, Bulgarian rose and Turkish rose. A bottle designed as a symbol of luxury and elegance
Finally, another element inseparable from this perfume is its timeless bottle, faithful to the silhouette of all Chanel perfumes. Its bottle has the same shape as the iconic N°5, which appeared in 1921 and has remained unchanged since its creation. More specifically, it is a glass rectangle stripped of anything superfluous, with slightly beveled edges. The whole is topped with a stopper cut like a precious stone. This emerald reinforces the luxurious character of this fragrance. The bottle holds an amber, syrupy juice, while a black and gold label proudly bears its name. Of course, these two shades were not chosen at random and are a nod to the baroque world so cherished by Coco Chanel.
