Obtained through extraction, the floral absolute is a high perfumery process, synonymous with unmatched French know-how. François Demachy has been the official perfumer of the house of Dior since 2006. For François Demachy, evolving a classic without betraying it is a high-flying exercise! It was perfumer Calice Becker who created J'Adore in 1999, and it was of course up to François Demachy to take on the heavy task of creating its absolute version. While his primary mission was to create new olfactory sensations, it also fell to François Demachy to perpetuate the style and values of the house of Dior, which has existed since 1947. François Demachy has managed to preserve the history and memory of Dior's perfumes, even while modernizing them from time to time, as with J'Adore L'Absolu. To revisit the iconic J'Adore, François Demachy used a particular extraction process that produces a more carnal and intense version of the flowers. Sophisticated, the J'Adore L'Absolu fragrance relies on an absolute that elevates the sensuality of the floral notes. The top notes are green and floral, then the heart evolves toward this exceptional bouquet, composed of ylang-ylang, tuberose, jasmine and rose. A symbol of perfect femininity, Damascena rose is a perfumery essential. Very delicate, Damascena rose comes to us from Bulgaria, more precisely from the Valley of the Roses, where it was introduced in the 17th century. For its scent to remain intact, only its petals are harvested, and the picking must be done by hand before sunrise. In perfumery, Damascena rose gives off powerful, floral and honeyed tones.
