Alessandro Michele is a designer who was appointed creative director of the Italian house Gucci in 2015. Since then, he has brought a profound singularity to the house. With him, women are different and authentic. To accompany them in their emancipation, Alessandro Michele also created a fragrance, in 2017: Gucci Bloom. Reinvented on several occasions, it is still making headlines in 2022 with a new concentrate of light. It becomes Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette.
Gucci Bloom was the very first fragrance entirely developed under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele. Indeed, he took up his position at the Italian house Gucci in 2015 and Gucci Bloom made its way onto feminine perfumery shelves in 2017. This generous bouquet of white flowers was subsequently reinvented twice, becoming Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori and Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori. In 2022, history repeats itself and Gucci presents a brighter fragrance named Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette. Here is our review.

The full creative vision of Alessandro Michele in a feminine fragrance
Alessandro Michele is a highly creative figure, who has literally revolutionized Gucci's fashion, turning it into one of the most daring Haute Couture houses in the world. According to him, his creations should serve to elevate the diversity of women. The result is striking combinations of colors, decorations and patterns. Thanks to this broad, inventive palette, Gucci designs are all the more expressive and singular. They blossom beautifully like petals newly opened before our eyes. And it is precisely in this way that the fragrance Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette was developed. It is imagined as a wild garden, overflowing with color and reflecting the beauty of women in their diversity. Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette revisits the very essence of its predecessor with lightness. It is intended for all women who never let themselves be constrained by convention.
A composition very close to the previous Gucci Bloom
If the message of emancipation and liberation carried by this fragrance is very current, on the scent side, however, Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette does not really break new ground. Indeed, its scent remains very close to that of the first version of Gucci Bloom from 2017. Its formula still contains the same three main ingredients, found in both its top notes and its heart notes. Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette is built around a bouquet of white flowers, composed more precisely of jasmine, tuberose and Rangoon creeper. Its novel touch comes from neroli. Luminous and Mediterranean, it brings a genuine sun-kissed lift to this composition, while amplifying its lightness.
A very successful, timeless floral bottle
Finally, in terms of design, Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette relies on sobriety and timelessness. Its square bottle is entirely opaque. It comes in lacquered pink glass, with a frosted, luminous finish. Intended for all generations of women, it evokes porcelain. It should be noted that this is a material dear to designer Alessandro Michele. The famous Toile de Jouy Herbarium motif, already used on Gucci Bloom's packaging, now also appears on its embossed paper label. The box and the bottle are perfectly matched. They are both soft through their colors yet refined through their lines. On the style front, Gucci scores another point.
