Fahrenheit Parfum is the parfum version of Fahrenheit, composed by François Demachy for Dior in 2014. The house dresses the 1988 signature in a violet and leather accord, opened by Sicilian mandarin and heightened by a bourbon vanilla absolute. Persolaise sees it as a subdued Fahrenheit, elegant but less adventurous than the original.
The house describes three tiers: Sicilian mandarin in the top notes, violet and the leather accord in the heart, bourbon vanilla absolute in the base.
From mandarin to leather
Sicilian mandarin opens the composition with a fresh, fruity touch. Violet leaves, green, vegetal and barely floral, form with the leather accord the heart of Fahrenheit, where birch, styrax and cade carry burnt, smoky notes.
A vanilla base
Bourbon vanilla absolute wraps the base in sweet, spicy accords. The house makes it the key to this version, to which it attributes a new power of attraction.
