Fahrenheit

Fahrenheit Parfum: The quintessence of the Fahrenheit Fût R composition. Bringing an iconic fragrance such as Fahrenheit up to the taste of the new millennium was the bold bet made by Jacques Demachy!

Fahrenheit is a fragrance unlike any other. A sort of olfactory UFO, it was created in 1988, going completely against the trends of its time. Yet, despite its eccentricity, it remains one of the most beloved men's fragrances on the planet. It must be said that with it, the house of Dior was particularly visionary, acting as a precursor of the 90s. To keep the legend alive, the house does not hesitate to reinvent and modernize its essence. As proof, Fahrenheit now exists in the form of an Eau de Parfum. So what about its formula? Here is a quick overview of the various elements that make up its composition.

Mandarin to freshen the top notes of Fahrenheit Parfum

Fahrenheit Parfum owes its existence to one of the greatest perfumers of our time: François Demachy, the official nose of the house of Dior. It is therefore all his expertise and his love for the finest raw materials that can be found in this fragrance. Indeed, its ingredients were not chosen at random, and all display impeccable quality. Everything begins with a refreshing accord of Sicilian mandarin. This citrus fruit is paired with lemon, while their freshness is quickly balanced by the spicy presence of pink pepper. Lavender, for its part, underscores the more aromatic and Mediterranean facet of this fragrance, while lending it a more floral elegance.

Violet leaves, the central element of Fahrenheit Parfum

Since its launch, Fahrenheit has been built around violet leaves. Fahrenheit Parfum thus does not depart from tradition. It amplifies the musky, green breath of this raw material, even using it in an overdose, as if to upend the codes of men's perfumery. It should be recalled that Fahrenheit was, in its time, one of the first floral fragrances to appear in men's collections. In this sense, Dior could not completely transform its DNA and had to preserve this coherence with its predecessors.

A more intense and magnetic base

The new vibrant intensity of Fahrenheit Parfum comes above all from its base. This is meant to be more sensual than before. This juice is elevated notably with leather and Bourbon vanilla absolute, two sweet, erotic and seductive ingredients. An irresistible attraction thus emanates from this fragrance. To this is added a touch of benzoin and amber. A number of woods also come to enhance its masculinity. Here, Fahrenheit Parfum explores the woody register in particular, in an alliance of vetiver, patchouli, birch, cedar and guaiac wood.
Beyond its intoxicating scent, it should be noted that Fahrenheit Parfum displays remarkable longevity. It lasts even longer than its very first version. Caution should nevertheless be exercised not to overuse it. Indeed, its projection is very powerful, to the point that it can quickly become heady. In short, it is an excellent winter fragrance, for warming up the coldest days.
