Fahrenheit Cologne

A fragrance synonymous with inner harmony, Fahrenheit instantly became a staple of the house of Dior. Also, while a few lighter summer versions of this juice have already come into being, Dior decided to freeze one in time by creating the new Fahrenheit Cologne. This new fragrant opus proves to be particularly airy and light without lacking spicy impertinence, all while retaining its woody tonality of old.

A Dior creation signed François Demachy

As usual, we owe the new Fahrenheit Cologne fragrance to the exclusive creative perfumer of Dior. He sought to preserve the essence of this iconic Dior fragrance while giving it a freshness worthy of a classic Cologne. François Demachy himself describes his fragrance as a stripped-down Fahrenheit that keeps its stunning soul. Thus, Fahrenheit Cologne appears as the fragrance of all contrasts. Its original structure is used here to bring it to a new degree of freshness. The characteristic woods of the original Fahrenheit have been retained. Fahrenheit Cologne therefore contains Haitian vetiver, Virginia cedar and a leather note. Nevertheless, this accord is supported by the striking freshness of Sicilian mandarin and Calabrian bergamot. The spices are heightened by the presence of nutmeg, while an almost marine sensation envelops the wearer thanks to an accord evoking sea spray. Lastly, violet leaves bring a more green and powdery facet to the whole. Fahrenheit Cologne is a fresh and light fragrance that nonetheless retains its warm, abrupt notes of the past.

All that remained was to put this fragrance into images. To do so, Dior called on Megaforce, a particularly renowned collective of artists and directors. Moreover, they are behind several music videos for Rihanna. Thus, they were given the demanding task of completely reinterpreting the identity of Fahrenheit. They created a sort of inverted horizon from it. It is somewhat as if the new Fahrenheit Cologne had transformed the world and upended its logical order. Somewhere between the sky and the sea, a new Fahrenheit man was born, more determined and serene. Fahrenheit Cologne seems to emerge from the meeting of an ocean of ice and a sky reddened by twilight. Regardless, it is a fragrance synonymous with wide open spaces and seems to draw its strength from the heart of natural elements. All of this is then contained in a bottle strongly evocative of its predecessor. It retains its original shape but has nonetheless traded its red and yellow gradient for greater transparency, resulting in a particularly airy rendering.
