Here, intense iris elevates every other ingredient in the fragrance. Dior Homme Intense opens on the voluptuous notes of Tuscan iris. The heart is enhanced by the delightfully musky accents of hibiscus seed. Virginia cedar paired with vetiver forms a precious woody accord, refined and thoroughly masculine. Dior Homme Intense, luxury ingredients

For this outstanding composition, Dior chose luxury ingredients. Iris absolute is considered one of the most precious materials in niche perfumery. Its extraction process is long and, above all, delicate. First, the rhizomes (the root) harvested from plants that are 3 or 4 years old must be processed. The rhizomes then need at least three years to dry. They are then processed into fine particles through distillation. Its scent is then extremely present, almost overwhelming. Iris offers green, powdery, and woody fragrances. It is a warm, reassuring note. Ambrette is also among these luxury ingredients. Ambrette seeds exude a pleasant scent between musk and amber. Ambrette is grown mainly in tropical countries. As for Virginia cedar, it comes from the United States. Cedar essence is obtained through steam distillation. Its accents are fine and noble, and Virginia cedar is an ingredient often included in fragrances as a base note to achieve a subtly woody finish.
