Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole

Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole, a new release with a springtime scent from Guerlain. Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria fragrances are always highly anticipated. Created every spring, they represent an olfactory tradition that announces the arrival of the warmer season. These refreshing eaux de toilette release a sophisticated sillage, while drawing inspiration from a specific part of the globe.

In 2021, as with every new spring, Guerlain presents a new Aqua Allegoria. Established many years ago, this collection brings together refreshing, luminous eaux de toilette, conceived as gardens from around the world. This time, it is a luminous and sun-kissed fragrance, like a flower honey enhanced with aquatic notes. Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole recalls Guerlain's commitment to protecting bees, while taking us into a lush and generous garden. As for the bottle, it is equally prestigious. Between history and modernity, here is what its glass case tells us.

Guerlain's historic Flacon aux Abeilles

Like all the fragrances in the Aqua Allegoria collection, Guerlain's Nettare Di Sole is presented in a legendary bottle. Common to the entire saga, this glass case is a modern reinterpretation of the Flacon aux Abeilles. As a reminder, it was created for the very first time in 1853, for the Eau de Cologne Impériale, a cult fragrance by Guerlain, designed for Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III. It was notably thanks to this juice that the house became the official perfumer to the empire and to the greatest crowned heads of the world. Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole thus offers a plunge into history. Its bottle is like a piece of heritage from one of the most prestigious French houses.

The new silhouette of the Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole bottle

While the bottle of Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole draws inspiration from a historic case, it has nonetheless been modernized and updated by the artist Robert Granai. In a 125 ml spray bottle, it displays smooth glass and takes on a cylindrical shape. Its transparency allows one to glimpse a sun-kissed juice, evocative of a springtime glow or a honey nectar. In perfect harmony with its history and the scent it contains, it is also topped with a dome chiseled in a honeycomb pattern. Entirely gold, it plays with light. A gold-colored bead further tops the whole structure. Finally, a white, understated, square label bears the name of this fragrance.

The packaging of Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole

From then on, this fragrance only needed packaging worthy of its name. To enhance its box, Guerlain called upon the American street artist Michael De Feo, also known under the pseudonym The Flower Guy. As one might have guessed, this creator is a specialist in flowers. Here, in his drawing, he pairs them with green leaves, honeycomb cells and citrus fruits, the whole immersed in a bath of clear water. The result is a scene as luminous as it is realistic. The exterior of the box, for its part, places the bee at the center of everything. In gold tones, it stands out against an entirely immaculate white background.
