The solar goddess of Alien Eau Extraordinaire

Alien was adored from its release in 2005, both for its bold, fantastical concept and for its highly original and above all innovative floral and woody composition. However, the first advertising campaigns for Alien left the public puzzled as to the sincerity of the message. Indeed, the Alien woman does come from elsewhere, but the shaman possessed by a gentle madness in the first Alien advertisement prompted more questioning than contemplation of her beauty.

When Mugler launched its second fragrance in 2008, it changed its marketing concept to make it clearer. With Alien Eau de Toilette, we thus discovered a woman adorned with gold and light, posing with her bottle like a goddess with her talisman. Magic, wonder and spectacle were now part of the picture. Given the success of these visuals, Mugler took advantage of the launch of this Alien Eau Extraordinaire to offer a campaign worthy of the Alien goddess.

The campaign for Alien Eau Extraordinaire is thus showcased through an advertising spot shot like a film by Floria Sigismondi and guided by the sublime presence of top model Alexandrina Turcan, embodying the Alien goddess to perfection. The settings are grandiose thanks to the spectacular structure of Castello di Sammezzano, the costumes are dazzling (notably the luminous dress of the sublime goddess, born of avant-garde fiber and LED technology), and the result is simply sublime.

To continue the story of Alien, we imagined the continuation of the previous visual: it is the Goddess's awakening to solar light, like a rebirth through the Sun, source of life on Earth. She receives this light and radiates it. It is the image of the Goddess-Statue becoming woman, her heart beginning to beat in symbiosis with the light. The fragrance of optimism and kindness: Alien Eau Extraordinaire

Alien Eau Extraordinaire innovates with its bottle, presented as opulent and elongated to pay tribute to the marquise style used in the shaping of the precious stone into 56 facets. Moreover, the allusion of this Alien bottle to Madame de Pompadour is no coincidence, as the marquise style notably allowed King Louis XV to pay homage, with this shape, to his beloved's magnificent smile. Of course, the vibrant color of the Alien Eau Extraordinaire juice will also stand out through its sublime bottle.

Alien Eau Extraordinaire was composed by Dominique Ropion and Véronique Nyberg around top notes of Tunisian neroli, orange blossom and Italian bergamot tea. At the heart, the sublime marriage between the solar tiare flower and the deeply sensual amber cashmeran wood dazzles us and wraps us in warmth. Finally, white amber, paired with heliotrope, caresses us like the sun's rays on skin... A delight!
