Its success was instant. Even today, Alien remains one of Thierry Mugler's most famous juices. Yet in 2020, Thierry Mugler embarked on a new challenge: leaving its characteristically fiery universe behind to bring a new breath of freshness. Alien Mirage is a new fragrance of light, an ode to the creative force of every woman. Alien Mirage leaves the scorching desert behind and takes us into a much fresher register. It plunges us into an aquatic land brimming with freshness, like a mirage appearing in the dunes right after the storm.

Alien Mirage by Thierry Mugler explores new horizons and dares a much more aquatic essence than before. Its amber facet preserves the sensuality of its formula, while flowers remain ever present. First, Alien Mirage blossoms in a mineral revelation. Its scent is also spiced with pink pepper, grown in fair-trade harvests. Then, Alien Mirage offers a second mirage revelation, illuminating itself with tender and generous notes of mock orange and lotus. Finally, its third breath is a blooming revelation, containing tones of white amber and hinoki wood. Here, Thierry Mugler evokes all the softness and feminine purity associated with an extraordinary strength. Alien Mirage is a fragrance surprising in its contrasts, endowed with natural charisma.
As for the bottle, Alien Mirage reappropriates the design of its predecessors. It comes in a sculpted bottle like a jewel, with irregular yet symmetrical facets that play with light. Its former amethyst hue has completely disappeared, replaced by a new grayish-blue shade, brighter and purer. Thus, the visual of Alien Mirage also helps convey the new message of this essence carrying freshness. The crystalline reflections of its glass are also illuminated with a gold trim at its top, as if the sun were invited onto its walls.
