Terre d’Hermès Parfum, when man meets nature. The story of the Hermès house begins in 1837. At that time, Thierry Hermès is 36 years old and opens a small shop as a master harness maker and saddler. He makes and sells harnesses as well as equipment for horses.
Hermès is a French house that was first famous for its leatherwork, mainly linked to the equestrian world. Then, the house specialized in travel leather goods, before gradually broadening its universe. Thus, Hermès has always been deeply attached to our Earth and to the discovery of its many landscapes. Drawing on these various elements, Hermès created a men's Eau de Toilette named Terre d’Hermès in 2006. Today, this juice is considered a true icon of masculine perfumery. Moreover, its range has gradually expanded. As proof, Terre d’Hermès Parfum is its 2009 edition. Presented as a more intense and denser juice than this original fragrance, what is really true about its ingredients? Here is our review of this composition.

Terre d’Hermès Parfum, a juice of exceptional density
Terre d’Hermès Parfum is a true journey through the elements. This fragrance is conceived as a journey that takes us to discover the riches of the Earth. Thus, its philosophy remains the same as that of its predecessor. However, Terre d’Hermès Parfum affords itself the luxury of a men's extract with a rare and exceptional density. With this fragrance, everything seems heightened, so much so that the senses are immediately set abuzz. From its opening, the freshness of the citrus is enhanced by shiso, more radiant and powerful. Likewise, the mineral smell of Terre d’Hermès is clearly amplified. Grapefruit and orange blend with a more refined flint accord. On the other hand, on the woody notes side, Terre d’Hermès Parfum has been lightened and stripped down. Here, only vetiver and cedar express themselves, while being wrapped in a comforting, reassuring softness of benzoin.
Hermès opts for an almost unchanged bottle
As for the bottle, Terre d’Hermès Parfum offers no real surprise. Indeed, its bottle remains substantially the same as that of its predecessor. Very understated, it displays a thick wall of translucent glass, letting us glimpse an amber juice. Note, moreover, that it has been slightly darkened for its Terre d’Hermès Parfum version. The name of this fragrance appears discreetly on its front face, in orange lettering, which is also found on the base of this fragrance. Thus, Terre d’Hermès Parfum seems to draw its source directly from the ochre earth of the desert. The base of this bottle also forms an H in homage to the name of Hermès. Finally, for more masculinity and virility, a small opaque black cap proudly sits atop this glass edifice. It contrasts with the ever-present transparency of the whole.
Terre d’Hermès Parfum is a juice endowed with a raw, intense richness. Directly inspired by our founding earth, it encourages every man to refocus on his emotions and primal instinct. It speaks to all those seeking composure and charisma. Terre d’Hermès Parfum is just as masterful as its predecessor.
