Voyage d'Hermès Eau de Toilette

Where to buy
Since the arrival of Jean-Claude Ellena in 2004, its strengths have taken on the hue of beautiful abstract olfactory portraits, in the image of the famous Terre d’Hermès or of this beautiful and fascinating Voyage, in 2010. With Voyage, the “odor writer” translates that fabulous movement of setting off toward the unknown, this blend between the strength of a woody-spicy accomplishment and the airy lightness of citrus and fresh notes. A Voyage worth taking...
A journey between the strength of a galloping horse and the lightness of a bird
For Voyage d’Hermès, I had the idea of creating a taut scent. To me that meant a great deal. Without that tautness I had in mind, it wasn't good. In the end, I got it, but we are in total abstraction, Jean-Claude Ellena on Voyage d’Hermès.
So for this Voyage, so dear to the house of Hermès which has offered luxury luggage lines for decades, it would be described as an action far more than a destination. The place matters little, as long as the desire is there.
Voyage will be represented in communications by the galloping horse, a horse to which the magnificent bottle design is of course already dedicated, but which is also followed in a magnificent advertising spot. The images of Voyage are strength and aestheticism, a race against time between the airy lightness of the bird, a symbol of freedom, and the horse ready to conquer the world with its vigor. A fine allegory of the olfactory powers of this new Hermès, in which Voyage plays on contrasts between airy freshness and earthy power to carry us away all the better.
Voyage d’Hermès: fresh woody character
Philippe Mouquet, designer for Hermès, created for Voyage d’Hermès a nomadic object-bottle, conceived for travel and as a messenger of movement. Hermès on Voyage. Indeed, how could one not be fascinated by the precious and original Voyage bottle? This sliding glass stirrup, a true reference to the world of Hermès saddlery, offers itself to the Voyage fragrance as if to illuminate it all the better.
The departure of this olfactory Voyage, signed by the master painter in perfumes Jean-Claude Ellena, carries us from the top notes toward zesty lemon freshness, green vegetal facets, and delicately scented green tea. At the heart, cardamom warms the Voyage with its captivating scents while propelling it toward airy, floral hedione. Finally, warmth and freshness jostle one another to offer the traveler sensual musky scents alongside the softness of white woods.
A fragrance of contrasts and a true declaration of love to opposites, Voyage d’Hermès is a unisex fragrance suited to men and women seeking the scent of freedom. A fragrance in which the strength of the earth, of masculinity, unites with the pure softness of femininity to prepare for takeoff...
