Continuing this woody sensation, vetiver and guaiac wood make their appearance in the sillage. They come across as slightly smoky and are accompanied by the warmth of sandalwood. Mr Burberry comes in a bottle deeply inspired by the house's iconic trench coat. Moreover, its ebony-colored cap pays tribute to the buttons of this jacket. Likewise, the whole is adorned with a hand-tied black gabardine ribbon, a tribute to the revolutionary fabric of this coat invented by Thomas Burberry more than a century ago.
