Ô Zenith: the identity card of the fresh water that brushes against the azure sky The return of Le Monde des Ô, 2025 version Since 1969, Lancôme's Ô refreshing waters have invited summer escape. In May 2025, the house launches a new triptych called Le Monde des Ô (Ôff Now, Ôver the Top and Ô Zenith) to boost the emotions of millennials in search of positivity. A true hymn to the Côte d'Azur, the fragrance aims for a sensory crescendo: a leap from the beach to the solar zenith, the house promises.
Composition: the sun-kissed freshness of Ô Zenith
For its new sensory water, Lancôme envisions an olfactory journey in three stages. The opening evokes the splash of a citrus granita enjoyed with feet in the sand; the heart, bathed in a radiant jasmine, captures the instant when the sun reaches its peak; finally, a monoi-musky veil caresses the skin, like the gentle warmth of a lounge chair at dusk. The result: a luminous floral-fruity signature, designed to lift the mood and evoke summer all year round.
The notes in detail
1. Top: granita-style citrus
The opening pairs a sparkling Italian bergamot with zesty green mandarin. A hint of lemon meringue brings the fresh-sweet sensation of crushed ice, while a breath of Timut pepper awakens the palate and improves projection.
2. Heart: radiant white bouquet
At the heart, grandiflorum jasmine harvested at dawn diffuses a creamy, slightly honeyed facet. It is flanked by a crystalline neroli that adds transparency and radiance, then a lilybelle™ (water flower molecule) for a wet petal effect. Together, these white flowers weave a sun-kissed halo reminiscent of the white light of the zenith.
3. Base: monoi & crystalline musks
The sillage reveals a monoi accord blending tiare flower, coconut and Tahitian vanilla pod in subtle doses; no milky heaviness, just the creamy softness of a tanning oil. White musks (helvetolide™, habanolide™) fix the fragrance on the skin for eight hours while leaving a clean, silky finish.
Naturalness & responsible sourcing
• 92% naturally derived ingredients; alcohol from French sugar beet.
• Citrus sourced from a Calabrian cooperative with a zero-waste supply chain; peel residues are used to make the box's paper.
• Jasmine and neroli grown at Lancôme's Domaine de la Rose near Grasse, guaranteeing traceability and fair wages.
• Vegan fragrance: no ingredient of animal origin and no added coloring.
Development on skin: three timed phases
Phase 0-1 h: effervescent splash
Bergamot, mandarin and a fine lemony mist create an “iced citrus cocktail” effect that instantly energizes.
Phase 1-4 h: sun-kissed bloom
The jasmine unfolds, warmed by the emerging monoi; the flower gains roundness, while a neroli veil extends the luminous clarity.
Phase 4 h+: salty skin caress
The monoi accord softens into clean musks, evoking the slightly salty grain of skin after a swim. A rustle of a t-shirt reactivates the soft aura into the evening.
Usage tips & layering
• Spray generously on damp hair: the micro-droplets cling to the cuticles and release the jasmine with every movement.
• On tanned skin, layer a coconut body milk to accentuate the monoi.
• In the evening, boost longevity with a light musk-amber veil before spraying Ô Zenith.
