A new iridescent bottle signed Lancôme
Like all perfumes in the La Vie Est Belle collection, La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal comes in a bottle originally designed in 1949. It was named the “Sourire de Cristal” (Crystal Smile), in reference to the shape of its glass base, which forms a smile. Its shape remains unchanged. However, La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal is this time adorned with a new, more flamboyant lacquer. Its glass walls are dressed in a holographic finish, playing with color through shifting light reflections. At its neck, a silk chiffon ribbon completes its femininity and its poetic quality.

An advertising catalogue lists a television spot titled “Shine Bright” with Julia Roberts, crediting the agency Publicis and the media agency Wavemaker. The same catalogue describes the scene: the actress enters a formal Parisian evening event, steps into a fountain whose mist and refracted light make the crowd smile, then slips a pink rose into a young man's hand.
A retailer article presents Julia Roberts as the face of La Vie est Belle since the very first edition. A promotional film devoted to Soleil Cristal, showing the visual of the bottle, was released online in March 2021.
