Angel Fantasm

Launched in 2024 by Thierry Mugler, Angel Fantasm is a Sensual Eau de Parfum signed by Jacques Huclier and Louise Turner, a flanker of the 1992 Angel. The house describes it as amber, gourmand and fruity: the original bergamot gives way to a juicy pineapple accord, over a base of patchouli, vanilla and amber. The star-shaped bottle is dressed for the first time in a deep black lacquer.

Where to buy

Angel Fantasm joins the Angel collection in 2024, a collection born in 1992 from what Mugler presents as the first gourmand fragrance in history, in a blue star bottle that has become iconic.

The house credits Jacques Huclier and Louise Turner, the duo who also signed Angel Stellar the following year. Mugler presents Angel Fantasm as a metamorphosis of Angel's legendary gourmand character into addictive sensuality: the celestial bergamot gives way to a juicy pineapple accord, and the original patchouli reinvents itself.

The launch is accompanied by that of A*Men Fantasm, its masculine counterpart; a single campaign, with Hunter Schafer and Moses Sumney, carries both fragrances.

Mugler subtitles it Sensual Eau de Parfum, and places it among its fruity gourmand ambers, in the line's signature star-shaped bottle, lacquered in black for the first time.

Hunter Schafer and Moses Sumney

The campaign, shared by Angel Fantasm and A*Men Fantasm, features actress and model Hunter Schafer and musician Moses Sumney. Hunter Schafer wears a black Mugler jumpsuit designed by Casey Cadwallader and moves through a black void bathed in blue light, holding the black star.

The house presents this film as a surrealist journey where traditional notions of masculinity and femininity are subverted; Moses Sumney, in a sculpted vest by Cadwallader, embodies A*Men.
