Emblem Absolu
The Emblem Absolu Montblanc masculine fragrance Montblanc is a brand that symbolizes refinement better than any other. First famous for its pens, the house gradually developed this line of business until it entered the world of perfumery. In 2014, Montblanc thus created a fragrance paying tribute to its history.

Where to buy
Celebrating Montblanc's iconic white star, Emblem very quickly embodied the elegant and polished image of this brand in olfactory terms. In 2016, Montblanc thus revisited its fragrance in the form of Emblem Intense. Following on from this fledgling collection, Montblanc now presents the very latest Emblem Absolu.
The spicy and woody breath of Emblem Absolu
First, let's discuss the scent of this new fragrance. Indeed, as its name suggests, it draws inspiration from its predecessor, Emblem. However, this new composition proves brighter and spicier than before. Emblem Absolu revolves around one of the most famous ingredients in men's perfumery: lavender. Nevertheless, while this fragrance contains the classic codes of masculine perfumery, it reinterprets them with an elegance more contemporary than ever. The opening of this fragrance is bright and vibrant. It combines mandarin with a juicy pear. Cardamom, meanwhile, was added to this composition to give it a more icy quality. Nevertheless, Emblem Absolu plays on contrasts and warms up very quickly in its heart. The heart becomes electrified with pink pepper. Fruits and honey, however, make the whole thing more syrupy. Finally, masculinity prevails and Emblem Absolu ends up revealing more virility. This fragrance concludes with a robust breath of patchouli, vetiver and oakmoss.
Montblanc plays the luxury card
On the aesthetic side, Emblem Absolu's belonging to the great Montblanc family is apparent from the very sight of its bottle. Indeed, when it launched in 2014, Emblem had already surprised with its intriguing bottle, a sort of massive interpretation of Montblanc's famous star, entirely lacquered in black. Now, the brand new Montblanc Emblem Absolu takes up exactly the same silhouette. The whole thing takes on the air of a UFO of perfumery and has a very futuristic side. What's more, its very dark look of before has now given way to an entirely gold lacquer. More than ever, Montblanc seems to have played the avant-garde card with Emblem Absolu. Its edges nevertheless seem polished by time and no one could say whether its shape is rather abrupt or delicate. Its profile evokes the six glaciers of the Mont Blanc massif. The whole thing thus seems to respect the brand's tradition perfectly while turning particularly toward the future.
