Where to buy

Today it appears again in four limited editions designed for summer. L'Eau d'Issey Shade Of Sunrise is part of this lineup and is like a sunrise over a Japanese landscape. Intended for women, this essence is like a bouquet of white flowers, nestled in a bottle resplendent with a sun-kissed yellow.

The sun as the central element of L'Eau d'Issey Shade Of Sunrise

L'Eau d'Issey Shade Of Sunrise is an infinitely summery fragrance, which announces its solar ambitions right from the start on its bottle, now streaked with a blazing yellow color. While the silhouette of this bottle has remained unchanged compared to its predecessors, it must be acknowledged that its color is particularly tempting. Furthermore, a sunrise is also depicted on the front of its packaging, enough to give one the urge to escape. This elegant design was created in collaboration with Mai Hua, a well-known colorist highly regarded in the cosmetics marketing world. Here, the look of this fragrance is in perfect harmony with its scent. L'Eau d'Issey Shade Of Sunrise draws direct inspiration from a trip to Japan, and more specifically from the island of Zamami, a haven of unspoiled land located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean. Here, it is all the gentleness of its exotic landscape that seems to resurface from this essence. L'Eau d'Issey Shade Of Sunrise draws inspiration from one very specific moment: the moment when the sun rises. It is a solar aroma of white flowers that reflects the dawn sky, a golden and soothing sun reflected on the sea.

Issey Miyake relies on a bouquet of white flowers

To translate this sensation on a purely olfactory level, Issey Miyake called on one of the most sought-after perfumers of the moment: the talented Aurélien Guichard. Coming from a famous family of perfumers from Grasse, he was immersed in the world of scents from a very young age. However, among his favorite scents, he reveals that he particularly enjoys that of the morning when you wake up on a boat, with a sea like oil in front of you, and you drink a coffee alone on the deck. And it is precisely this combination of freshness and gentleness that resurfaces from L'Eau d'Issey Shade Of Sunrise. It all begins with a duo of bergamot and lemon. Then, luminous flowers take over this fragrance. L'Eau d'Issey Shade Of Sunrise blends ylang-ylang, heliotrope, white rose, frangipani, and osmanthus. Gradually, its base becomes more milky. L'Eau d'Issey Shade Of Sunrise ends with a blend of coconut milk, sandalwood, and cedar.
