The house's first perfume was released in 1976; “First” is today a legendary fragrance. In 2014, Van Cleef & Arpels introduced “Rêve Elixir”, a variation on the fragrance “Rêve”.

With “Rêve”, released in 2013, Van Cleef & Arpels opened the doors to a sublimated imaginary world. In order to transcend feminine beauty, “Rêve” draws inspiration from nature. Like a dream, the fragrance constantly renews itself, growing more beautiful each time. The “Rêve” woman is delightfully endearing, dreamy, mysterious, yet magnificent. In 2014, the house unveiled a variation on its enchanting fragrance with “Rêve Élixir”. This new version is more sun-kissed. It aims to embody extreme femininity. More sun-kissed and more voluptuous than its predecessor, “Rêve Élixir” was created with the noblest materials found in nature, since nature remains at the heart of the essence. “Rêve Élixir” evokes the poetry of early spring and invites an unforgettable imaginary journey.

The delicate olfactory notes of Rêve Élixir

Van Cleef & Arpels called on perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer to create this dreamlike elixir. Regarding this creation, she states that she imagined a dreamlike fragrance around an imaginary flower symbolizing grace and purity. “Rêve Elixir” opens on the sweet note of pear combined with luminous neroli as well as peach blossom. The heart of “Rêve Élixir” is composed of iris blending with osmanthus accents as well as frangipani flowers. Finally, the base releases an ultra-sensual and delicate sillage thanks to the presence of sandalwood, cedarwood and amber. The bottle looks like a piece of jewelry. Entirely rounded, the bottle is dressed in a very delicate powdery pink. On the bottle, one can also glimpse chiseled leaves, as if engraved into the glass. The silver-toned cap brings to mind an earring.
