Rose Passion

Rose Passion is an Eau de Parfum by Jimmy Choo released in 2023. The house attributes the composition to Nathalie Lorson, whom it credits with a statement linking the perfume to the optimism claimed by the Jimmy Choo woman. It describes the fragrance as a sun-kissed amber floral, classified here among the florals.

Jimmy Choo opens the formula on coconut water and frangipani flower, echoing the French Riviera inspiration it claims. Orchid and jasmine form the floral part of the composition; sandalwood and a vanilla described as exotic carry the sillage. The rose in the name corresponds to no material declared by the house: the word refers to the register and color of the perfume rather than to a note.

The notes are arranged here as follows, after the house: coconut water and frangipani at the top, orchid and jasmine in the heart, sandalwood and vanilla in the base.

The bottle is presented by the house as a fuchsia pink volume with a gradient finish, bearing the signature JC emblem, offered in 40, 60 and 100 ml: a bright pink ornamented sphere, topped with a black square cap.

The launch campaign, covered by the fashion press in June 2023, brings together model Malika el Maslouhi in front of the lens of photographer Carlijn Jacobs, in a poolside setting. The latter had that same year signed Jimmy Choo's spring 2023 fashion campaign, with Kendall Jenner, under the creative direction of Sandra Choi; the visual continuity between the two series was noted by the fashion press.
