La Vie est Belle Eau de Toilette

La vie est Belle, Eau de Toilette, a statement made of grace. The Lancôme house was created in 1935 by Armand Petitjean. From the outset, it embodies beauty, femininity, makeup and luxury.

La Vie est Belle is certainly one of the finest successes of Lancôme perfumery in the 2010s. A bestselling fragrance composed by three of today's greatest perfumers, La Vie est Belle is as gourmand as it is delicate, as resolutely modern as it is subtly retro through its touch of iris, the signature of the line. Only two years after its release, La Vie est Belle became an Eau de Toilette in order to make its perfumed smile even more airy.

When La Vie est Belle becomes an Eau de Toilette, life turns springlike!

La Vie est Belle joined the firmament of Lancôme's fragrance stars in 2012, alongside Trésor, Poême, Magie and other marvels that the house of Armand Petitjean has offered since the 1940s. A true maker of miracle fragrances, the Lancôme house displays with La Vie est Belle an unwavering optimism that unites its cause with all the women of the world, gathered in the magnificent smile of Julia Roberts.

It must be said that La Vie est Belle truly had everything going for it, notably the three great perfumers who, after 5,521 trials, managed to compose this exquisite fragrance. Olivier Polge, now the in-house perfumer for Chanel, Anne Flipo, a lover of flowers, and Dominique Ropion, a technician of raw materials and a creator of fragrances with unique emotion, together composed most of the great fragrances of the 2000s and 2010s. La Vie est Belle is therefore one more success to add to their long list of bestsellers.

La Vie est Belle was first offered as an Eau de Parfum, and it was in 2014 that La Vie est Belle Eau de Toilette made its appearance. From then on, La Vie est Belle would be composed and recomposed with multiple olfactory raw materials, but two of the three original perfumers remained to watch over this precious smile.

Creamy gourmand notes and a fruit basket for La Vie est Belle Eau de Toilette

Creating an Eau de Toilette is not simply a matter of adding a few refreshing touches to an Eau de Parfum; it involves recreating new balances between original ingredients and new ingredients, which is not necessarily the easiest task. In fact, La Vie est Belle Eau de Toilette required 879 tests before reaching its final composition, which says a lot!

Its structure will be slightly modified. The top notes will be more present, with more development. The balance will no longer be quite the same, Anne Flipo says about La Vie est Belle Eau de Toilette.

For La Vie est Belle Eau de Toilette, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion kept certain emblematic materials from La Vie est Belle Eau de Parfum, such as iris or the base notes, and added other new elements to these ingredients, such as magnolia, coconut milk, or the replacement of the pear note with a blackcurrant note.

A sun-kissed interpretation of the iconic olfactory signature La Vie est Belle, the Eau de Toilette is illuminated by the freshness of Magnolia Essence. Lancôme, on La Vie est Belle Eau de Toilette.
