Santal Paname was released in 2026 in Les Ateliers Gaultier, the private collection of six 100 ml eaux de parfum that Jean Paul Gaultier launched alongside Ambre Tatouage, Cuir 1976, French Oud, Musc Terrible and Rose Palace. The house presents it as a unisex fragrance.

Paris after midnight

The house tells of a mad love story between Paris and Gaultier, especially at night, from the Moulin Rouge to the Folies Bergère. Santal Paname seeks to capture that after-midnight spirit: a Paname that dares everything, provokes and apologizes for nothing.

A silhouette from 2012

Les Ateliers Gaultier draw on the designer’s couture archives. For Santal Paname, the house cites a golden silhouette from the 2012 Jean Paul Gaultier runway show, flamboyant and structured, imagined to make the Parisian night shine.

Coralie Spicher and Fabrice Pellegrin signed the composition. Jean Paul Gaultier, his house says, creates his fragrances the way he designs his couture pieces, with passion, provocation and playfulness.
