Givenchy presents Irresistible Nude Velvet in 2025, a new opus in the Irresistible collection. The house describes a sensual, enveloping composition, conceived as a “second skin,” which redresses the line’s signature rose-wood accord with a musky touch. The meeting of rose and velvety iris shapes an intimate floral addiction, extended by a woody, powdery base.
Top
Neroli opens in essence, blended with a gourmand accord of almond milk; the house adds an ambrette absolute, from which it retains the naturally musky facets. Wikiparfum reads the almond on the side of dulce de leche.
Heart
A velvety iris magnifies a duo of roses, Damask rose and rosewater, in what Givenchy presents as an enveloping floral encounter. The iris recenters the collection's signature on a powdery texture.
Base
Cedar essence and musk hold the base, textured according to the house by a rice powder. Wikiparfum places there instead a musky rosewood.
What the label declares
The short ingredients list opens on a UV filter, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, before the declared allergens: linalool, citronellol, geraniol, limonene and citral for the rose and neroli, alpha-isomethyl ionone for the iris, powdery and violet.
Coumarin, almond-like and hay, and anisic alcohol, sweet, answer the announced almond milk; vanillin is not declared. Three dyes, red 4, yellow 10 and violet 2, give the juice its nude tint.
Other readings
Wikiparfum tightens the accord into three stages, gourmand almond, rose and iris, rosewood and musk, without contradicting the house's floral, woody and musky reading.
What stays outside
Ambrette and rice powder, cited by the house alone, and Wikiparfum's rosewood remain in prose, outside the retained notes.
