The history of Eau de Rochas
Let us begin by making the introductions and revisiting the history of this historic essence. It all began in 1969, when Nicolas Mamounas, nose of the Rochas house, was in Greece. One beautiful morning, he was won over by the beauty of the Castalian Spring. He then decided to draw inspiration from this waterfall over blue-tinted rock to create a fragrance. This is how he gave birth, the following year, to Eau de Roche. This juice was ultimately renamed Eau de Rochas, in 1983.
The sun-kissed inspiration of Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil
Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil once again immerses us in the Mediterranean basin. However, the inspiration is no longer a waterfall. It is rather the beauty of a lemon grove. The clear, peaceful air transports us to the heart of a beautiful sunny day, on the Mediterranean Riviera. Once again, Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil celebrates escape and the pleasure of life in the open air. It is aimed at active and dynamic men and women, who wait only for the first light of day to enjoy all the benefits of nature.
Lemon as the star of the Rochas fragrance
As the name of this fragrance suggests, Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil is built essentially around lemon. This citrus fruit, typical of southern Europe, appears from the top notes of this creation. The lemon essence is further brightened by neroli. For added depth, Rochas decided to add the crispness of fig tree leaves. The heart of Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil, meanwhile, is more floral and aquatic. A rosy accord blends with orange blossom. Little by little, Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil becomes more sun-kissed and enveloping. This initial tangy wave is replaced by an amber accord, vibrant woods and white musks.
When yellow dresses the timeless glass cylinder of Eau de Rochas
As usual, Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil comes in a glass cylinder. However, its uneven relief has now been replaced by fluting, giving it the appearance of a Greco-Roman column. Modern and timeless, the bottle of Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil captivates with its absolutely cheerful, summery yellow glow! As for size, this bottle is available in a 100 ml spray bottle.
