Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil, a Mediterranean inspiration that stays true to tradition
Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil is a fragrance that takes us to the Mediterranean Riviera. In this sense, it is a modern creation that does not forget its origins. As a reminder, the first version of Eau de Rochas was inspired by a Greek waterfall: the Castalian Spring. Indeed, when he discovered it, during his vacation in Delphi, Nicolas Mamounas was literally captivated by its atmosphere and its olfactory subtleties. He decided to draw inspiration from damp wild herbs and mountain flowers to create an eau de roche. This is how Eau de Rochas was created, in 1970. The story of Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil is, for its part, more contemporary. However, the source of inspiration remains the same. Here, though, it is no longer a waterfall but rather the beauty of a lemon grove bathed in sunlight.
A dazzling bottle, more colorful and refined
As you will have understood, lemon is at the center of this composition. This is immediately suggested in the name of this fragrance. Likewise, lemon is also omnipresent on this bottle. More than ever, the bottle of Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil shines with a new glow. Its yellow glass is absolutely dazzling. It conveys a contagious energy. The refined aspect of this visual, for its part, is amplified by a white label, perfectly matched to the cap of this fragrance. Note that it now has a smooth surface, in a more contemporary style. The walls of this vessel, for their part, have also been reworked. More minimalist, they now trade their former uneven relief for fluting similar to that of a Greco-Roman column.
