Fleur d'Oranger & Bergamote

Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues, a natural, summery fragrance. It was in 1902 that the incredible adventure of the house of Berdoues began. Guillaume Berdoues, a barber, created an amber eau de cologne and launched his own cosmetics and perfume brand. Since then, Berdoues has built its business around these two worlds.

Where to buy

Each of its perfumes draws inspiration from nature, and Berdoues is committed to offering men and women creations born of ancestral know-how, while adapting to today's expectations. It is in this context that the house currently presents organic and vegan fragrances, such as the new Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote.

Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues, a nostalgic and radiant fragrance

Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues comes in a simple, authentic bottle, made of a thick, transparent glass cylinder, elegantly decorated with an orange-hued label bearing a few citrus fruits. At a single glance, Berdoues suggests the ingredients contained in its fragrance. Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues unfolds around three successive accords, revealing a natural, tender, and radiant charm. First, bergamot invigorates body and mind with its fruity flavor, lightly floral and bitter. Then orange blossom takes over at the heart, for a tangier rendering. Little by little, its notes become more opulent. This floral bouquet leaves behind sweet, gourmand accents, before giving way to a final breath of neroli. Not heady, the women's fragrance Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues suits the summer season perfectly. It is both soft and nostalgic, without ever becoming showy. Its juicy citrus fruits and flowers leave on the skin an endless veil of freshness, discreet yet never lacking in flair.

Nature as Berdoues' source of inspiration

Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues presents itself as a fragrance of natural origin. As such, it carries organic certification. Unlike most fragrances today, it contains almost no synthetic compounds and relies above all on flowers and fruits taken directly from nature. It thus sounds like a return to the roots of perfumery. It is also a vegan fragrance. As a result, it carries an ethical message and uses no animal substances in its making. Nor does it result from processes harmful to humans or animals. It is respectful of the environment as well as of life and the planet in general. In keeping with this philosophy, the fragrance Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues comes in recyclable packaging, made from recycled elements. With Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues, everything speaks of authenticity and simplicity. Sophie Berdoues' ambition is very simple: having always been immersed in raw materials, I grew up surrounded by the creations developed by my grandfather and my father, and by all the emotions they evoke. Today, I am committed to nurturing our know-how and showcasing raw materials, in order to offer the finest creations.

Olfastory’s review

The house of Berdoues was born in 1902: since its founding, it has sought to carry on an ancestral know-how while adapting to the expectations of today's consumers. Each of its fragrances, like the whole of its skincare line, reflects a genuine desire to showcase the finest raw materials that the earth can offer perfumery. Taking this philosophy to its fullest expression, Berdoues now presents new organic and vegan compositions. Berdoues signs an entirely new collection in 2021, made up of three fragrances: Fleur de Tiaré Ylang, Fleur de Jasmin Amandier, and Fleur d'Oranger et Bergamote by Berdoues. Here is our review of this latest solar composition.
