When plump mandarin meets the crispness of basil

Aqua Allegoria Harvest Madarine Basilic by Guerlain invites people to discover plump mandarin paired with the crisp charm of basil. The freshness of this raw material is readily surprised by the herbaceous, almost anise-like aroma of this Mediterranean leaf. As perfumer Thierry Wasser puts it, Madarine Basilic is a joyful creation built around the most fruity of citrus fruits: mandarin. It forms a sparkling and unexpected duo with basil. Here, more precisely, it is a Calabrian mandarin, paired with clementine and blood orange. Their joyful sun-kissed accents are then joined by a garland of freshness. This brings together orange blossom, ivy leaf and white peony. It is at this moment that basil unfurls its powerful, almost spicy breath. This magnificently echoes the energy of green tea. Finally, Aqua Allegoria Harvest Madarine Basilic closes with the softness of chamomile, amber and sandalwood.

Like all Aqua Allegoria perfumes, Madarine Basilic comes in a modern reinterpretation of the timeless Bee Bottle. Made from 15% recycled glass and now refillable, it is illuminated by a honeycomb dome. It plays with light and creates countless reflections in its orange-hued juice. Finally, note that the cardboard packaging of Aqua Allegoria Harvest Madarine Basilic has also been embellished with a pattern of flowers and wheat, painted like a floral watercolor. This is the work of artist Laura Gulshani. In terms of sizes, Aqua Allegoria Harvest Madarine Basilic by Guerlain is available in two formats, in 75 ml or 125 ml spray bottles.
