Eau de Rochas Homme

Eau de Rochas Homme is the Eau de Toilette that Rochas launched in 1993 as the masculine counterpart to the 1970 Eau de Rochas. Gilles Romey composed a citrus aromatic in which lime, bergamot and mandarin meet verbena and lavender, over a base of vetiver and cedar. Its raw glass bottle seems to bear the imprint of waves carved into rock.

Rochas launched Eau de Rochas Homme in 1993, more than twenty years after the women’s Eau de Rochas of 1970. The house presents the Eau de Toilette as the masculine counterpart to that great classic, a manifesto of spontaneity and freshness, of chic and restraint.

Gilles Romey for the masculine version

The 1970 Eau de Rochas was the work of Nicolas Mamounas. For its masculine version, Rochas turned to Gilles Romey, who signed the 1993 formula and made it a cologne of character, between citrus freshness and a chypre base.

The house describes a tonic composition with sunny notes, whose freshness recalls the morning dew. It classes it among the citrus aromatics and presents it as a timeless, distinguished cologne.
