Eau de Rochas Homme, the masculine fragrance from the house of Rochas. L’Eau de Rochas is a true legend of perfumery. However, it was first created for women. Men, for their part, had to wait 20 years to be able to spray themselves with its masculine version. This happened in 1993.

Where to buy

Like its predecessor, this fragrance is a great classic, a condensed blend of spontaneity and freshness. It is directly inspired by water. It delivers a particularly fresh breath, paired with a few chypre nuances. L’Eau de Rochas pour Homme is a thrill that comes to nestle in the hollow of the neck.

L’Eau de Rochas pour Homme, a fragrance that is a source of life

The first Eau de Rochas was created following a trip Nicolas Mamounas took to Greece, as he observed a waterfall. He was fascinated by the beauty of the water gushing from the rock and splashing onto the plant moss. He drew inspiration from the scent that emanated from this scene to create a fragrance. Once again, L’Eau de Rochas pour Homme is an essence that seems to mark a return to the essential values of life. This fragrance was not about extravagance or pretense. It simply seems to want to honor the clarity and necessity of water, an element essential to our survival. L’Eau de Rochas pour Homme is a fragrance that seems to capture the freshness of morning dew. This fragrance plunges us into the edge of a woodland, as the first rays of sun already pass through the vegetation while it is still refreshed by the humidity of the night. L’Eau de Rochas pour Homme is a fragrance synonymous with generosity. It is both noble and refined while being very comfortable. It has an aspect somewhat evocative of the eaux de Cologne of old, taking on a false nonchalance that is well suited to today's vision of masculinity.

The fresh virility of L’Eau de Rochas pour Homme

L’Eau de Rochas pour Homme is a fragrance that likes to play on contrasts. It is the work of Gilles Romey and is an ode to freshness. Its scent opens with citrus notes, and it is precisely there that its false air of Cologne resides. Lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, orange and lime contribute to making this fragrance particularly invigorating. Nevertheless, this essence does have the tenacity of a fragrance, and its aromatic facet is here supported by the gentle presence of verbena. To preserve its freshness in the heart, a touch of mint has been added to its composition. Mugwort and juniper berries help reinforce the dynamism of this fragrance while preserving its aromatic breath. Its virility, on the other hand, appears more in its sillage. A trio of cedar, cypress and vetiver make this fragrance a very elegant one. L’Eau de Rochas pour Homme is then presented in a bottle evocative of the first version of L’Eau de Rochas. Redesigned in a more cubic style, it has the same undulations as its predecessor, still cut from a block of raw glass.
