Chrome Legend is the Eau de Toilette Azzaro launched at the end of the 2000s as a more sophisticated sequel to Chrome. Signed by Christophe Raynaud and Olivier Pescheux, it pairs green apple, bitter orange and tea with a heart of moss, musk and sea spray, over a base of cedar, tonka bean, vetiver and amber.
Azzaro now describes the Eau de Toilette in three stages. At the top, green apple and bitter orange meet tea. The heart brings together moss, musk and a sea spray accord, and the base combines cedar, tonka bean, vetiver and amber.
The launch formula
At its release, Azzaro also highlighted fresh spices and yerba mate around the apple and bitter orange. These two notes no longer appear in the current description, which keeps tea alone at the top.
