Azzaro classes this eau de toilette as a woody aromatic fougère and credits it with nine hours of longevity, measured on a panel of sixty-five men. The word intense does not denote an overload here: the house announces only three raw materials, one per tier.

Three raw materials, one per tier

Bergamot opens, green and forthright, without the sugar that weighs down so many citrus openings. Lavender holds the middle, with neither geranium nor sage to support it. The base falls to a moss liqueur accord, woody and earthy, which carries all the depth of the composition.

The opposite tack from its own line

The other two concentrations of The Most Wanted, the eau de parfum intense and the parfum, pull toward amber and spice. This one moves the other way, toward green and classicism. Wearing them one after the other means changing perfume, not degree.

Two raw materials under discussion

Elemi in the top notes and vetiver in the base are sometimes attributed to this juice. Neither appears in the official listing, and including them would amount to thickening a composition that is deliberately short. They remain on the margins.

The perfumer remains unknown

The house does not name the perfumer behind this flanker. The bottle, meanwhile, does not change: it is the line's black cylinder, notched, topped with its upper section shaped like a revolver cylinder, with a clear juice with a green cast that stands out against the cap.
