Launched on April 15, 2025, Chance Eau Splendide is the fifth fragrance in Chanel’s Chance line, dressed in violet. Olivier Polge makes a raspberry, rose and violet accord sparkle over a heart of rose geranium grown partly in Grasse, with iris, cedar and white musks. Angèle is its face.
The round bottle of the Chance line, endless like infinity according to Chanel, is tinted here with a violet the press describes as lavender.
Chance Eau Splendide uses the round bottle shared by the fragrances of the line. Chanel sees in it perpetual movement and renewal, like infinity, which has no end; the house’s texts compare it to a golden ball thrown into a game of ninepins.
For this version, the juice takes on a violet tint, which Options describes as lavender. The line thus pairs a color with each fragrance: green for Eau Fraîche, pink for Eau Tendre, orange for Eau Vive, yellow for the original Chance.
