Launched in 2025, Born in Roma Extradose Donna is the most concentrated version of Valentino’s Born in Roma line. Honorine Blanc and Amandine Clerc-Marie pair a blackcurrant accord, bergamot and mandarin, a rum accord and sambac jasmine over a Madagascan Bourbon vanilla. Adut Akech and Anwar Hadid front the campaign.
Kimberly Wilson, a devotee of Born in Roma Donna, finds Extradose more mature and deeper than the original, with a rich vanilla she can still smell after twelve hours.

In a February 2025 review, the author, who considers Born in Roma Donna her signature scent, finds that Extradose lives up to its marketing. The blackcurrant plays with the rum, and the vanilla in the base seems deeper and more luxurious to her than in the original.
She can still smell it after twelve hours, versus six to eight for the original, and describes three distinct stages: a bright opening, a warm rum, a lingering vanilla base. More mature than the original, it threatens, in her view, its place among her favorites.
