Prodigieux le parfum
Nuxe has bottled the smell of its Huile Prodigieuse, the dry oil that made its fortune: Prodigieux le parfum, composed in 2012 by Serge Majoullier, who was already responsible for the scent of the oil. Citrus and orange blossom open, a bouquet of rose, gardenia and magnolia takes over, coconut milk and vanilla close on a hot sand accord.

Where to buy
Nuxe sells skincare in pharmacies, not fragrances. Its standing rests on a dry oil whose smell is recognized by women who have never seen the bottle. In 2012 the house decided to make an eau de parfum of it and entrusted the work to the man who had scented the oil.
Serge Majoullier, twice
The Mane perfumer therefore signs both the model and its transposition. The exercise has a difficulty of its own: a cosmetic smell, greasy and milky, has to stand up in alcohol without losing what makes it recognizable.
A pharmacy fragrance
It went on sale in May 2012, at 45 euros for 50 ml, in a network where Nuxe has few rivals in perfumery. Denyse Beaulieu noted at the time that the only rivals on the shelf were the eaux fraîches from Caudalie.
What it has become
The house has turned Prodigieux into a line: the fragrance received a Floral flanker in 2021, a Néroli, an Absolu de parfum, and it accompanies a shower oil and a body lotion of the same smell. It sells today in 30 and 50 ml, at 56.70 euros for the large format.
What the house says about it
Nuxe sums up its fragrance in three raw materials — orange blossom, magnolia, vanilla — and in an accord it calls feminine, sun-kissed and hot sand. It specifies that the juice is not photosensitizing, a rare mention in perfumery.
