Alien Extraintense

Alien Extraintense is an Eau de Parfum by Thierry Mugler launched in 2025, composed by Dominique Ropion, who had already signed the original Alien in 2005. This new flanker in the Alien line comes after Alien Hypersense, released in 2024. The house presents it as an ultra-addictive interpretation of the iconic sillage, carried by jasmine, tuberose, vanilla and cashmeran.

The central accord according to the house

Thierry Mugler does not break down Alien Extraintense into top, heart and base notes, but presents an accord bringing together jasmine grandiflorum, tuberose, a vanilla accord and woody cashmeran, described as an extreme interpretation of the sensuality of the Alien signature.

Three stages relayed by Now Smell This

Now Smell This relays, at the announcement of the launch, a composition in three tiers: a green and fresh opening of petitgrain, a floral heart of jasmine and tuberose, and a warm base blending vanilla, cashmeran and amber wood. This reading adds petitgrain, absent from the house's presentation.

What the label declares

The label lists linalool, geraniol, citronellol and farnesol, molecules commonly found in floral and woody compositions. Coumarin also appears on this list. Two colorants, Ext. Violet 2 and Red 33, tint the juice, in keeping with the purple-black gradient of the bottle.

What remains outside the announced accord

Wikiparfum places Alien Extraintense in the floral olfactory family, without detailing tiers, which aligns with the single-accord presentation chosen by the house rather than a classic three-tier construction.
