Noir is the men’s eau de parfum Tom Ford launched in 2012 in his Signature line, composed by Olivier Gillotin. The designer calls it enigmatic, complex and surprising: an oriental in which bergamot and verbena open onto rose, geranium and iris, ahead of a base of patchouli, vetiver, vanilla and civet.
A heavy, sleek bottle, marked with the TF logo on the cap and a T and an F on the side, crossed by a fine pleated line.
Escentual describes a heavy bottle with a sleek look, whose cap bears the TF logo on top. On the side, a T and an F face each other, meant to represent the two sides of a personality.
A fine pleated line runs across the cap and the bottle, and is repeated on the box. Victoria, on Bois de Jasmin, finds this packaging somewhat impersonal, almost corporate.
