It is ideally designed for bold young men and thrill-seekers. Thus, like the previous installments in its line, Polo Red Extreme was created by perfumer Olivier Gillotin. The latter is a highly renowned figure in the world of perfumery. Having entered the Givaudan house as a mere intern, he is today the vice president of the house's American division. He has also collaborated with the greatest creative houses, such as Balenciaga or Dior. Nevertheless, no challenge frightens him, and he also sometimes enjoys signing creations for niche brands. Here, with the creation of Polo Red Extreme, Olivier Gillotin chose to play the card of contrast. He signs a juice that is both very fresh and yet very dark and vibrant. It opens with a sparkling and invigorating note of blood orange. Then, this citrus quickly gives way to a heart steeped in coffee. Polo Red Extreme is a fragrance that smells of freshly ground beans. It then continues on its path through dark and sustained notes, ending with a woodier sillage dominated by ebony. All of this is presented in a bottle faithful to the classic line of Polo fragrances. However, its body, once tinted a bright red, is now lacquered in an opaque black, against which the famous polo player stands out in a vivid red color.

Focus on the faces of the Ralph Lauren campaigns

Polo Red Extreme is a fragrance synonymous with adrenaline. Moreover, the entire Polo Red line aims to pay tribute to Ralph Lauren's love of cars and racing in general. This time, it will be a motorcycle race. It will be played out between two attractive men, namely Luke Bracey and Kenneth Guidroz. The latter appears as an occasional actor for the Ralph Lauren brand. Luke Bracey, on the other hand, has been named the brand's new face of the campaign. He thus succeeds Nacho Figueras. The 27-year-old actor says he is delighted to collaborate with this great creative house. Indeed, he says he particularly appreciates its vision of masculinity and highlights the exceptional longevity of the Polo range. Finally, he also highlights the complexity of this new fragrance, at once very soft yet like a kick delivering a genuine adrenaline rush into everyday life.
