The house sets the sugary gleam of a black cherry steeped in its liqueur, lifted by bitter almond, against the darker flesh of Turkish rose, Sambac jasmine, Peru balsam and roasted tonka bean, over a base of sandalwood, vetiver and cedar.

A forbidden fruit
