Patchouli Elixir naturally wears the magnificent tilted glass bottle of its predecessor. However, this pretty magic potion will not hesitate to make itself noticed thanks to its golden dressing, which crowns it with light and inscribes at its heart all the messages of love that the house addresses to its perfumed “soul”, Patchouli of course.

For once, Patchouli Elixir is presented much more modestly through a palette of olfactory colors rather than notes of greater or lesser importance. Of course the star of Patchouli Elixir is Java patchouli, a patchouli that, depending on the raw materials accompanying it, takes on multiple faces. With Virginia cedar, Haiti vetiver, and Australian sandalwood, the patchouli turns woody and deep, while with labdanum it does not hesitate to play the beautiful amber mineral. Tolu balsam lends a few balsamic nuances to this patchouli, which also delights in offering fine gourmand touches accented with a hint of vanilla and tonka bean. Finally, of course, the “lord” patchouli reveals its musky splendors by rubbing against a few soft white musks.
