Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum by Jean-Paul Gaultier reprises some of the ingredients already present in its 2021 Eau de Toilette version. As such, its top notes still contain mandarin. The clary sage of before has now completely disappeared. It has been replaced by geranium. Along with lavender, it is one of the most widely used flowers in men's perfumes. Indeed, geraniums bring a certain elegance, without tipping over into too much romanticism or femininity. Better still: they even have a slightly peppery side. Thus, this ingredient adds a touch of pep and character to this incisive fragrance!
Finally, at its base, Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum no longer contains vetiver. This raw material has been replaced by sandalwood. The aromatic tree par excellence, it gives off a very warm and balsamic spirit here. Slightly animalic, it is a guarantee of sensuality. Creamy and velvety, it is also an excellent fixative.
