Songe Précieux
Songe Précieux is a Givenchy creation from 2017, initially distributed on a quiet basis and designed for travel retail. Grapefruit and black pepper open the composition, peony and jasmine hold the heart, and sandalwood, cedar and white musks sign the base.

Where to buy
Indeed, it is precisely this trade that some Givenchy fragrances address. Furthermore, the house has just created a brand new fragrance available in airports. It is called Songe Précieux and is aimed more specifically at an audience of young dreaming girls, whose imagination knows no limits.
Givenchy's new poetic essence
Once again, Givenchy has placed femininity at the heart of its concerns. Songe Précieux is a fragrance woven with grace and poetry. It comes in a cardboard box that speaks volumes about its elegance. The box is entirely covered in pink, in a design one cannot quite tell is made of feathers or flower petals. It invites one to live a waking dream. Songe Précieux is a fragrance that draws notably on the story of Alice in Wonderland. This fragrance is described by Givenchy as soft as a feather. It plunges one into a supernatural tale, in which the heroine of a fanciful dream majestically emerges from a whirlwind of sparkling feathers, ready to fulfill her mission of love and seduction. Songe Précieux opens on the bitter softness of pink grapefruit paired with the exoticism of guava. This apparent tenderness is quickly stirred by the spicy character of pink pepper. Then a large floral heart takes over from this incisive opening with more delicacy. It combines jasmine, pink peony and water lily. The whole is finally supported by a woodier, muskier base containing cedar, sandalwood and white musk.
Songe Précieux, a fragrance exclusively reserved for airports
Once again, Songe Précieux will be aimed exclusively at an airport audience. Indeed, this is not the first time Givenchy has attempted this experience. It began in 2015 with the creation of the fragrance Jardin Précieux. This fragrance drew more specifically on French formal gardens, containing a floral heart paired with Marie-Antoinette tea. It was a symbol of all the aristocratic elegance of France. It was then followed, a year later, by the fragrance Eclats Précieux. This one proved more pop, as shown by its elegant, very colorful packaging. If this strategy proves particularly profitable, it is simply because customers present in airports are very receptive and active. After all, what else is there to do but shop when stuck in a closed building waiting for one's next flight? Moreover, fragrances offered in this location come at an attractive price since they are duty-free. Customers are thus delighted to get a good deal, to the great satisfaction of luxury brands as well. So one knows what to do on one's next trip… This new Songe Précieux asks only to carry one into the depths of one's dreams!
