L'Homme Libre is considered an aromatic fougère. Two talented perfumers, Olivier Polge and Carlos Benaïm, created L'Homme Libre. The fragrance opens with a fresh, citrus intensity thanks to the presence of Calabrian bergamot. This is joined by the spicy notes of nutmeg and pink pepper. Then, the heart of L'Homme Libre moves between aromatic and floral notes, those of basil, star anise, and violet flower, giving the whole a good dose of impertinence. The base sillage is a combination of vetiver, patchouli, and leathery notes. As for the bottle, it echoes the codes of its predecessor. The shape is graphic, cylindrical at its base, and octagonal at the cap. Its transparency at the top of the bottle gradually evolves into an increasingly dark blue. The whole is electric.
