Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain is a fragrance that, as its name indicates, carries within it all the floral radiance of Calabrian neroli. This plant, derived from the bitter orange tree, evokes on its own the entire beauty of the landscapes of the Bay of Naples. For the occasion, the neroli is paired with other greener notes, such as basil. The whole is also coupled with a delicious fig accord, ideal for awakening our gourmand character! At its base, Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain concludes with a touch of vetiver, whose slightly smoky and woody accents bring immense depth to this fragrance. The result is the image of a neroli with an incandescent whiteness.

As for the bottle, Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain comes in the iconic glass case of the Aqua Allegoria collection. For the record, this bottle is a sort of modern take on the legendary Bee Bottle by Guerlain, created in 1853. The latter is recognizable by its honeycomb-carved dome as well as by its glass cylinder that plays with light. The whole is elegantly topped with a golden, luminous ball.
A fragrance more respectful of the environment
Another new feature, and not a minor one: Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain is a fragrance more respectful of the planet. It embodies on its own the full commitment of Guerlain to biodiversity. As such, it contains up to 95% ingredients of natural origin, as well as French beet alcohol sourced from supply chains committed to responsible agriculture. Its bottle, meanwhile, is made in France, from 15% recycled glass. Refillable, it is recyclable and comes with a 200 ml refill that extends its period of use.

More specifically, it draws its inspiration from Calabria, a region located in southern Italy, at the southern tip of the peninsula, close to Sicily. Famous for its succession of mountain ranges, its cliffs overlooking the sea and its rugged terrain, it is a fascinating region. Guerlain decided to pay tribute to it. Its fragrance Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver is an ode to nature and to the Dolce Vita.

Low-carbon filming in France
The film for the Aqua Allegoria 2022 collection, directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, was shot in France under a low-carbon production setup.
The film for the Aqua Allegoria 2022 collection was shot in France, near Marseille and in the Cévennes, with a shot of a crystal-clear river. The filming setup was designed with a low carbon footprint: models traveled by train, an organic, zero-waste caterer was used, and the crew was kept small. The campaign accompanies the launch of twelve fragrances at the end of February 2022 and does not focus specifically on Nerolia Vetiver.
Guerlain published an official behind-the-scenes video of this campaign with Yann Arthus-Bertrand, presented as president of the GoodPlanet Foundation and director of the film.
